‘We Tiresias’: Try not to myth it
"It’s gratifying to see organizations as multidimensional as the Kennedy Center and as focused as Forum making time and using space to take care of Washington’s own composers and dramatists. This is what a community actively engaged in developing the skills of its artists does ...

"Julia Harman Cain vividly remembers her first encounter with Forum Theatre. Not long after moving to DC in 2007, she attended a performance of the Round House Silver Spring resident company’s production of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot" ...

It’s a question that arises during production of “Holly Down in Heaven,” a play about some of the decisions facing an academically smart, but emotionally immature, pregnant teenager who comes back from church camp a born-again Christian."

Theater: ‘Holly Down in Heaven’
"'Holly Down in Heaven,' the play by Kara Lee Corthron that is enjoying its world premiere at Forum Theatre, marks Forum’s first run with a resident playwright.
“I’m learning how exciting it is to have that type of collaboration,” said artistic director, Michael Dove, who is directing the production. “Having every brain in the room . . . really informs [the play] in a great way.”
