Celebrating Gender Transformation in the Nation’s Capital
The final show of the 2012-13 season will be a new work created and directed by Forum Ensemble member Natsu Onoda Power. Natsu has worked with Forum Theatre as the set designer for
bobrauschenbergamerica and
Mad Forest. Most recently, Natsu created and directed
Astro Boy and the God of Comics at Studio 2ndStage. Onoda Power is an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University. She has been described as a “
renaissance woman” (
DC Theatre Scene) and is garnering a reputation for
“doing some of the most exciting work in D.C.,” (David Muse, artistic director of Studio Theatre in American Theatre Magazine). This devised piece is sure to be the perfect end to Forum’s ambitious season.
